A Fun Past Week

Last week was so much fun. I played at the park with my friend Jackson where we fed the ducks and then mommy and daddy went out to celebrate Brecken's mommy's new job so I had a new babysitter. She was lots of fun. Then I was so excited because my Baba and Bapa W came to visit me for a whole week. I had so much fun. We went to the beach, watched the "boom booms" twice, went to the park, ate great food and read books. I also got to see my Tata and Cameron a lot too which is always great. I can't wait to see everyone again soon.

UH OH!

This past weekend my arm was hurting so mommy and grandma took me to have an X-ray of it and sure enough, two bones in my arm are broken. I was a very patient and good little guy throughout the whole day while we waited at the hospital. I was glad grandma was there to help me feel better. The doctor put a cast on my arm so now I can't move it. This makes it kind of hard to do all of the things I used to do, especially since it is my right arm and I am right-handed. So eating treats, putting on my shirt, poking Lexi, and opening all of the kitchen cupboards have each been a challenge. But I am doing just fine. I like to show my cast to everyone and tell them it is my arm in case someone doesn't know. Chloe and some of my stuffed animals put casts on too because they wanted to be like me. So if you see a little gimpy guy, it might be me!

Chi-tastic Weekend

Mommy, daddy and I spent this weekend here at home. We had a fun-filled weekend. We went to the Blues Festival, Wiggleworms (twice), the craft tent, watched fireworks and had dinner with E and K and ate tons of food. Here I am at Wiggleworms banging as hard as I possibly can on my drum.
I also decided I needed to be on stage. I don't think I was suppose to but oh well! I went out to eat with mommy and daddy a lot and drove them nutty.

Mommy and I had fun dancing and playing at the park during the wee hours of the night. Crazy mom!!

E and K are so much fun. I had lots of fun dancing while mommy, daddy, E and K were silly.

I really like K!! She is so nice and makes good food. She also makes good drinks. ( like I would know)

AND of course I played in the sprinkler at the park 42 times.

I was a little shy standing up there singing, but I just pulled on my shirt and that made me feel better.

We went to the Blues Festival with my new friend Adam. I have fun playing with him.

Can you tell daddy is not happy about mommy being late to go see Al Gore? Ugggh mommy is always late!

My Friend Grace

Last Friday my best friend here in Chicago, Grace, moved away to London. We are all sad that they are so far away, but have so many great memories of all of them. I will miss hanging out with Grace while our mommies shop for hours, playing with her at the gym everyday, swinging on the swings at the park, going to eat, playing at our houses and of course getting in trouble together. I miss her already and can't wait to go see her in her new country.

Weekend Diary

This past weekend we traveled to Spring Lake for Uncle and Auntie Scotch's shower. While mommy and daddy went to the shower I got to spend lots of time with Baba and Bapa. Bapa bought me a seat for his bike and a helmet to keep me safe and we went on lots of bike rides. I love riding with Bapa on his bike. Baba and Bapa took me out to eat a whole lot as usual and even took me on a carousel ride. I also got to see Uncle Nick who I really love too. There is a new member of our family who I got to meet this weekend. Her name is Maggie and she is a ball of golden retriever love. She loves to play with me and I think I really love her too.
