Gavin was a superstar and a ham all in one. He had an amazing first visit with the dentist. Originally he wanted nothing to do with it, but after the dental assistant let him work on daddy, his interest grew. When it was his turn he was so cute and was ready to go. He hopped up on the big chair like an old pro and stuck on the dental shades just like dad. "I'm ready," he said. He did everything the dentist told him to do as I stood there with my mouth open in disbelief. The dentist cleaned, scraped and gave him a flouride treatment with no complaints from his tiny patient. What a wonderful visit, and Gavin, daddy and I were so pleased to hear how healthy and beautiful his teeth are. I'm a proud mom!

I have been meaning to record this for sometime now and Hans is finally making me do it. Here are some Gavinisms:Gavin talking to his Grandma B on the phone:
"Pam, I love you, but I am tired of you now."
On the phone with Santa:
"I want a castle with little people and houses for the sad people (i.e. the homeless people)." Awwwwhh!!
Gavin telling me about his day at the gym:
"Mommy, Mary doesn't want to be my girlfriend anymore and I am sad."
Next day talking to Mary:
"You are not my girlfriend anymore, Jordan is."
Gavin talking to his Grandma W who is about to leave our house to go home:
"It is ok if you go, Pam will come."
Gavin shopping for Christmas presents:
"I wanna get Gpa a tiny tie, he needs a tiny tie."
Every day, night and afternoon
"I do NOT want to go potty on the potty, I will go tomorrow."
"Mommy are you happy?"
"Mommy are you happy that I'm here?" Sooo cute.
"I don't like you mommy/Hans, I don't like you." not sooo cute
"Don't talk loud mommy."
Gavin telling me he loves me several times a day, which I can't get enough of: "Mommy I love you"
Gavin talking just like Auntie Sarah from England:
"Oh bugga!"
Gavin talking to various people, friends, strangers, his teacher etc.
"Mommy got in trouble. She got pulled over, but the police was nice." This is usually followed by "Do you want to hear something bad? Holly, Callaway and Porsche died, they died, they are not coming back."
Gavin's manners lately:
"Please, please, please."
"You are so very welcome"
"Oh excuse me I burp/fart"
And my favorite:
"Stop playing games Hans!"

Gavin, I'm so proud of you!! What a big boy. I'm am so sure that Jack will never sit that still for a dentist. And how am I going to explain all that plaque that must be accumulating from all of those jelly beans I've been bribing him with??
ps. Love the conversations with both of the Grandmas!! hahahaha!! He kills me!
That Mary's a little heart-breaker. I hope Jordan treats you well.
Nice work with the dentist!..I hope you go more often than I do.
