Instead of going to Traverse City this year for Thanksgiving we went to Frankenmuth or as Uncle Nick and mommy call it "Frigginmuth". It was fun eating lots and lots and lots of food, swimming in the pool and playing games. Uncle Nick, Aunties Sarah and Mary won me lots of tickets so I could get my scay guy light. It was gone by the time I collected enough tickets. My favorite game was the roller coaster ride and the dance game. Auntie Sarah liked the dance game too and made us all do the dance game with her. We also went shopping and I hate shopping. I did however have the chance to meet Cupid.November 30, 2008

Better Late Than Never
These are pictures from a fun weekend we had back in October. Mommy and daddy went out for a night on the town for Christy's birthday. We also went to Kiddie Land with Jimmy, Genie and Christian. Christian and I had a blast. I went on ALL of the big rides. I went on the big huge Pirate Ship where mommy got sick. I also went on the roller coaster and the "up and down" ride several time. Later that night, mommy, daddy and I went to the scay farm where we went on a creature walk, and scay train. November 17, 2008
OBAMA

Even though we were amongst several people in Grant Park to see Barack Obama become the next President of the US, we felt very fortunate to be part of history. The emotions that were floating around were incredible. Everyone was so positive and they were there for the same reason. It sounds dumb, but everyone was on the same page; we all were hoping for a change and a good change. When it was announced that indeed Obama was going to be our next leader, chills went through my whole body and a tear filled my eye and as I looked around I realized that most of everyone one around me felt the exact same way. The city was completely silent when our respected next President gave his acceptance speech. His voice echoed throughout the city. It was like something I have never experienced before. Words cannot describe how amazing that night was - a night that we will never forget.
PS-The "USA" building is right next to our house! I heard it was in Time.

Halloween in Chicago
This year we went trick-or-treating in Chicago. Our good friends had a Halloween party followed by trick-or-treating followed by party. It was such a neat experiance, one I had never had before.
We were in our friend's neighborhood, Roscoe Village, where there are lots of families with kids like ourselves. After eating a lot and drinking a lot we took the kids out for a very good time. Not only did the kids get goodies but the adults were lucky enough to find shots at some of the houses. Now where else does this happen? I am not quite sure, but I do know I have never seen it before. The stores were handing out candy too. We had such a fantastic time with great friends and can't wait until next year. Gavin is still talking about scay guys!

This is the jack-o-lantern Gavin made by himself with the exception of carving! Good job buddy!!

Not sure why this picture is the first in order but I swear we went to the bar after T-or-T!!

Gavin decided to be a zebra for school. He had fun being a zebra. . . i think!

Christian was a giraffe, which made for a cute pair.

My cutie!

Mya, Mia, Ava and Gavin

Apparently Felice doesn't take a picture any other way.

I think they are fighting over Mary. Come on Gavin!

Stef was not exactly thrilled that he was the only adult who dressed up. But he was a really good "man in the yellow hat" and had a very cute George.

Yep there it is, the proof, Karen!!

I think this picture is so funny. Don't ask me why!

Gavin, Mia, Mary, Ava and Sammy

Not quite sure.

Thank God for my parents who had us over for the weekend. I was so lucky to see my sisters and brother. Everyone has been so supportive through this tough time and I am very appriciative. It really makes you appreciate the your friends and family who are there for you in difficult times. Thanks!!!

Krystal of course was a big help. Especially for me at the end of the night. I appreciate her so much. She has been such a big help lately.
