Being a Mom

   Being a full time mother is one of the most stressful, demanding and exhausting jobs.  But the payment is being able to embrace every moment of your child's life until they drive away waving at you and thanking you for the person they have become.  At least this is what I am hoping happens.
   There are so many things I didn't know about being a mom and have since learned.   Along with the eternal love I have for my children, I am also cursed with constant worry.  I worry for their safely and I worry for their happiness.  I look at their faces and stare into their eyes and I pray every day for their happiness and safety.  My job as their mother has not been done right unless they are safe and happy and can succeed in the world as contributing members to society. 
    But no matter how may wrinkles I have endured and how hard, tiresome, worrisome my job becomes, the one thing I know for sure is that in return I am compensated with pure endless love.  I wouldn't trade my life as mother for the world. 
   I love you Gavin, Elise and my girls forever and always and will always take care of you, my little miracles.
